Microsoft started to phase out older versions of Skype

As you know from my previous post that Microsoft updated Skype and they did it quite badly. They added few critical features to new version but still looks quite bad. I still staying on latest version I could find (7.41.0.101) until it will stop working completely.

And recently I realized that my version slowly begins to behave incorrectly. One of the biggest issues right now that in conversation instead of:
Some person: Text1
                me: My reply 1
Some person: Text2
                me: My reply 2
Some person: Text3
                me: My reply 3

I can see it like this:
Some person: Text1
Some person: Text2
Some person: Text3
                me: My reply 1
                me: My reply 2
                me: My reply 3

It is not big deal so far, but I believe soon it can stop completely. I don’t blame Microsoft for this because I know how hard it is to support backward compatibility.

Also, my coworker found that his version of Skype asked him to upgrade or quit. He has version 7.32. I gave him my version and so far, it works.

My goal here to wait until they bring more features or perhaps redo it properly. Also, I personally don’t see much value in new Skype. It became like any other messenger and I would rather switch to Telegram that works much faster, display images correctly and much much more. But let’s see how it will go.
